Trunk Show
(45- 60 minutes)
Scrap quilts are my favorite.  I have a bunch I'd love to share with your group. I'll share their stories.  Along with ideas on how to organize and sort your scraps.  Tricks to having them play nice together.  As well as ways to use them up.

Workshops

Mary's Garden
6 hours
Students will learn about color and value.  They will lean my method of turning little bits of fabric into beautiful fabric that will be use to create wonderfully scrappy tulips.  Once the tulips shapes are made they will learn a simple machine applique method.
Naughty Garden
6 hours
This improvisational pieced class explores methods for making various free form flowers.  Learn how to make violets, roses, daisies, asters and more.  Then discover tips on putting all your flowers together into a one of a kind quilt.
Spells for Magical Quilts
3-6 hours
This class teaches students how to draft and create free form letters to put in their quilts.  

Dahlia
(3 hours)
Students will learn a quick and easy way to make the Majestic Mountain block.  By mixing and matching the units they will create is stunning block while also learning the tricks to a partial seam.  Bring your favorite layer cake and some background fabric and go away with several amazing blocks.
Scrappy Dresden
(3 hours)
Students will learn how to create an interesting scrappy background that will add interest to their quilts.  Along with the ins and out of creating beautiful Dresden Plates large and small. 

Dazzled
3 hours
Students will learn about value and color placement in addition to learning curved piecing in this play on Drunkard's Path.  They will also learn tricks to putting a quilt on point.

Wonky Rose Garden
3 hours
Learn about value in this fun free form class as you create one of a kind wonky roses from a rainbow of scrappy goodness.

Yarn Bomb Trees
3 hours
Learn a no waste method for a wonky frame around your blocks.  Use 10" background squares and funky strata pieces created from random strips to create colorful improv trees.
