It looks great, and what a brilliant idea to take it to school for a geometry unit.jovaliquiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04658198685121310571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3264933645170736932.post-33717960446706950922008-08-27T08:33:00.000-06:002008-08-27T08:33:00.000-06:00love your storm at sea, even if you call it your w...love your storm at sea, even if you call it your worst! The colours are great in it.

I wish I had pics of my first, second or even 3 quilt... Unfortunately they've all worn away and are long gone. :-( My first was actually a piece of geometric patterned sheeting before pre-print panels became "acceptable" My grandmother, mother and I all quilted on it in a frame one summer... It simply disintegrated through sun rot and wear. The second is one I designed myself and is absolutely hideous... IT was bright yellow and blue rectangles sewn in rows and set so they formed a bunch of "V" shapes -- called it flying geese I think... More then 30 years of quilting and too many "worsts" to think about :-)Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15763869971803840742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3264933645170736932.post-14595650969768055152008-08-27T08:09:00.000-06:002008-08-27T08:09:00.000-06:00How brave you are to post your first and worst! My first was a disaster from the word go - and I didn't even know it until I'd made a few more quilts. :) blessings, marleneStitchinByTheLakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501479854150315011noreply@blogger.com
