Cacti for Moda Bake Shop

My parents live in Southern Utah among the red rock.  I love the beauty found there.  My newest quilt for Moda Bake Shop is in honor of that majestic beauty.  Meet Cacti!  This quilt uses a matching layer cake and charm pack.

From a set of 2 layer cake squares and 2 charm packs you get two corresponding cacti.
Working your way through the pack you get a colorful collection of cacti

to arrange into a vibrant quilt.

I used the new line, Spotted by Zen Chic.  I told you I had another project in the works with this fun line when I showed you my Pinwheel Pincushion.  Isn't it great?  I absolutely adore anything Zen Chic does.  Find it and other great lines at the Fat Quarter Shop.

  4. What a great cactus pattern! I made a (different) cactus quilt earlier this year as a gift. For sure I’ll be adding your cute pattern to my list of quilts to make for me, LOL!

  5. What a cute colorful quilt! I live in the midwest so cacti are a bit out of my frame reference, but that makes them all the more intriguing!
