Moving It Forward

I had a little fun last week.  First I dove into my solids bin and pulled lots of bright happy solids out.  Something about my solids bin makes me feel like a kid with a new box of crayons.  All that pretty color creates a world of possibilities.
Look how cute these little four patches are.  I could make these all day.  They are just so fun.
I tried some square in a square blocks.  I like them with the white background but I think next time I might try a black or navy.
Finally I made a few diamond blocks. What will become of this play.  That is a good question.  Once again the possibilities are endless.

While I figure that out let's see what you are moving forward.  Link up and share your progress.

  6. Doesn't it feel DECADENT to just start cutting into fabric and sewing things together with no plan?! Those little blocks or units or whatever they end up being are delightful, and it sounds like you had fun making them so they don't even need to be anything at all.
