Fat Quarter Monday

This is taking a lot longer than I had hoped. But I am doing it. I have lost another fat quarter. I am now 1/3 of the way there. I was hoping by the end of the month to have reached my goal. That is not going to happen. So given my current rate of losing fat quarters I am hoping to reach my goal for my birthday in May.

The lucky winner of this weeks fat quarter is another Terri. This time it is Terri from Clay Hill Farm. Thanks for your support Terri. If you will let me know your snail mail and which fat quarter you would like, I'll be sure to get them off in the mail to you. Thank you to everyone else who is cheering me on. It really is helping. That and having to be accountable each week. I still have 10 fat quarters to go. So if you'll keep up your cheering going a bit longer I'll keep up working at giving these lovely fat quarters away. Just leave me a comment and next week you could win one. Thanks again!

Em

  2. Hang in there Em...the slow progress is the best way and it is proven that if you do it slowly, it really stays off too.

Don't worry when you hit those dreaded plateaus either...you are doing such a great job!

  5. if it comes off slow, it will stay off. speed doesn't work in weight loss. I still have my eye on that purple one with words. congrats on another loss!

  7. You are doing so great! I get caught up thinking I should lose weight like the contestants on the biggest loser - but I/you don't have as much to loose and it just goes slower - but it WILL happen!

  9. It is best to lose slowly because you are more apt to keep it off, so you are doing great! Keep up the good work.:)

  16. It's fantastic to see that pile of fat quarters getting smaller! What a great way to visualize your progress!

Eating healthier is a lifestyle change so don't beat yourself up about slow progress - it's not something you can just "stop" once you reach the weight you want to be. It's taken me a long time to realize that I can no longer be self-indulgent when it comes to food - I need to save self-indulgence for fabric - LOL!

We're still here cheering you on!!

Like others have said, the slower the weight comes off the better, it's a lifestyle change that gets the best results.

  20. Good news you have lost some more this week. You may think it's taking a long time, but please don't get discouraged. Sometimes it just takes a bit longer. You will make it, just keep focused!
