Weekends seem to fly and Monday arrives before I know it. I find that I get little time to sew over the weekend. Neglected house work needs doing, family calls; and while I can do without the housework I do enjoy my time with my family. This past weekend we had a bridal shower for my cousin's daughter. It was so nice to see cousins and aunts that I don't see as often. I also got to go to the movie, Hidden Figures. I loved it and would highly recommend it.
Friday before all this fun began I was able to make this quarter square star. Look for more of these in the future.
I also got busy on 'My Neighborhood' row quilt hosed by Quilter Chic. I finished the first row and made the blocks for the second row. The second row also has applique. I still need to get that done. But I'm a little closer to being caught up. I think it will be a fun quilt. I've almost got my row designed. My row will preview in April. If your looking for a fun project I think this one will flip the bill.
Now it's your turn. Did you find time to sew over the weekend?
