Fresh Salsa

Happy Labor Day! Hope you are enjoying your long weekend.  Today I'm off to Fort Bridger for a Mountain Man Rendezvous with my family.  My great grandparents homesteaded near there and this is a tradition I love.  I enjoy all the artisans sharing their crafts in the traditions of the past.

Speaking of traditions from the past, my garden is producing like crazy.  A great blessing that can feel a little overwhelming.  If your like me you are on the hunt for recipes to keep it from going to waste.  Today I thought I'd share my fresh salsa recipe.
Fresh Salsa
1- green pepper chopped
3-4 cups chopped tomato
1 small onion finely minced
1-2 Anaheim peppers chopped
1  garlic clove crushed
salt to taste
Combine and enjoy!
