This is beautiful!!! Such a great question...how many quilts we have in our scraps!
Yes, it is a good question. During the past three years I have created "project packs" from leftovers of quilts that I liked. So there are several of those before I start looking at strings, squares, scraps etc. And then, of course there is my stash. And I know by many American quilters whose blogs I follow that my stash is a mere "drop in the ocean"!
This turned out so well. Scraps are like that!
Great job! This turned out really, really well.:) The funny thing about using scraps is that they never seem to totally used up!
Congratulations on this beautiful finish, lovely work. You have made such a wonderful quilt.Greetings,Sylvia
This year I started on a quilt that will use about 5500 1-1/2" squares. I am about 2100 in and...well...I must have about 20,000 1-1/2" squares cut because you can hardly tell I have used any. Amazing! Scraps multiply.
That looks fantastic, Emily. It looks like such a nice size too.
A very graphic quilt design.
It's gorgeous! I love it!
Great design - i, too, love working with scraps ... There are a LOT of quilts disguised as scraps in y studio!
