New Beginnings

At the first part of each year the young women at my church celebrate New Beginnings.  At time to welcome the new young women that will come in during the year and to introduce the theme for the year.  This year the theme is 'Come unto Christ and be perfected in Him.'  As a presidency we decided to make each of the girls one of these.
It holds their journal, Personal Progress (a book used to set goals),  pencils/pens, and For the Strength of Youth booklet.

It folds up nicely for easy carrying.  The pattern can be found here.  I made 6 of them.  So, I'm linking up with Sarah to give a big Whoop Whoop!

  6. I live this idea! I think I'm going to make one and show it to our YW. Do you mind? I look back a the number of times my daughters lost their books. This is a project that the girls could do as a goal also.
