Cool Strings

I've pulled all my green, blue and purple strings from my strip bin.
It didn't make much of a dent.  Looks like I have more string quilts in my future.  Thank you Stephanie for your challenge.  I need it.
I trimmed all those strings into 1 1/4" strips

Then I used TOAR flying geese and braid roll to start making a few braids with my cool strings.

  1. PRETTY! I'm noticing Strings blocks showing up here and there. Perhaps January is a good month to dive into the scrap bins.

  2. Beautiful colors. I seldom have "strings" left over. Just little chunks or squares.

  4. It's looking good Em! Thanks for the shout out. Don't you love working with Triangles On A Roll? So easy to do. I just made two braid table runners that I will be talking about this week.

I just stumbled across your blog and I am so glad I did.
I have a bit of thing for jewel like blues/purples at the moment and so I love what you did with these strings!
