A Colorfull Web

I've made a little more progress on my Web Of Color.  It was been a work in progress no for over a year.  I've given progress reports here, here and here.  Had a change of plan along the way.  That seems to be happening a lot here lately.  I bagged the scrappy border and went with another row of blocks along the side and bottom.
Now I just need to get going on the quilting and binding.  Right now it's basted on my ping pong table.  I'm thinking of doing big stitch quilting in the stars.  Hopefully it won't be another year before it's complete.

  1. I love the quilt! It's been fun seeing it's progress. I can't do much basting this week, it's spring break and my son and his friends want to use the ping pong table, don't they know I bought it as an excuse to have a place to baste quilts?

  2. It loooks beautiful. I've had one in progress for a long time too. It is just nice to keep working on for using up the scraps. I like the extra row vs. the scrappy border.

  6. It's beautiful Em! Don't worry about taking time to make this. Scraps just don't happen. They take time to accumulate.

  7. This is so pretty!!! I love all the colors and think your idea of big stitch quilting is perfect. I also like how you went with an additional row of blocks versus the scrappy border. You must be so happy to have this basted and ready for quilting! Looking forward to seeing your progress.
