Sewing Machine Love

On the way to my retreat every year we pass a Valley Fabric quilt shop.  This is the first year we have gotten there early enough for it to be open.  It is a darling little shop.  The owner has the greatest collection of little sewing machines.  She has found them at garage sales and antique shops.  She has them displayed on a shelf along one wall.  Aren't the awesome?

She also has these little beauties.  It was so interesting and fun to see all the different machines.  That is not the only wonderful thing about her shop.  It had amazing displays and lots of pretty fabric.  So if you are every in Wyoming make sure you stop by.  You won't be disappointed.

After our little detour at the quilt shop it was on to the retreat and a whole new love affair with our sewing machines.

Lots of fun projects getting made

Friends sharing a love of sewing.

  5. It is always fun to get away and sew with sew-buddies! I am off on Saturday to join a bunch of like-minded people and make a French Braid quilt. Love those little sewing machines!

  6. What an amazing collection of little machines! Sounds like a lovely shop.

The retreat looks fabulous! And it also looks like you're sewing in the attic - very funny but it looks very cozy and lovely for a late winter retreat.
