Salt Air

Do you remember the tsunami I had in my sewing room recently?  Well here are the results beautifully displayed in Moda's booth.   Don't you just love the old sewing machine and Julie's little mermaid?
Salt Air by Cosmo Cricket
It was a ton of work to get these done. In fact, two of them were cut out, pieced, sandwiched, basted, quilted, and bond all in a matter of four days. My machine was smokin'!

Here is each one individually:
Beach Balls and Umbrellas

Clam shells

and Ripple

It was so fun working with Julie's new Salt Air line.  Watch for it in shops this spring.

That is quite the accomplishment in just a few days! Great quilts that would also be useful in using up scraps.

I love the fabric and the colors...and I am in awe of ripple...it has to be hard to sew....and keep pieces in right place....lol....for me? My fave if I were to make one ...would be clam shell.
