After polling friends and family the winning arrangement of my leaders and enders quilt is the diamonds.
The blocks are now all sewn together. It's been quilted with simple x's. And the binding is on. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. There are so many options for this simple block I think I might start another as my next leaders and enders project. I might do the next one with black as the chain and brights everywhere else. Would anyone like to join me? I think it might be fun as a sew a long. At the end we can all share how we put the blocks together. There are so many other ways that the ones I showed here. Well what do you say are you up for a little sew along? If there's interest I'll start instructions Friday.

I "just" picked a pattern yesterday to do a "Leaders and Enders quilt"... Have some small projects to get out of the way first, and then scrap cutting prep-work to do for it... 8-)
I shall watch for any L&E instructions you may post...
I love the diamond look! I don't think I sew enough to make any progress with a leaders & enders project. But if you start a sew-a-long, I would love to join in!
Awesome quilt all done up. I'm up for the leaders and enders as I am looking for ways to use up my boxes and boxes of scraps!!

I'm in. I would love to join your sew along. I have been cutting squares for a leaders and enders project. That would be a great one to do. I like that setting, but then I liked all of the ones that you showed, too! LOL!

A good setting. I so like quilts with the light squares running through them. Takes your eyes all around the quilt.

Your leader-ender quilt is stunning. What size are the smallest squares? I'm guessing 1" finished?
