Goosey, Goosey, Gander

I've been making lots of flying geese in different sizes and fabrics.  Using this method.
Then I put them together in this Dutchmen's Puzzle Block

And this just random flying geese block.
These two will be going to Shannon in my Twice is Nice Bee.  But I had so much fun making them I see a flying geese quilt in my future.

Flying geese parts can be made into so many different blocks and quilts. And there are several ways to make them. I think you need to make yourself one soon.

How clever you are! That bottom block is particularly nice. I am a flying geese fan, too.

I love that one is a traditional block and the other is freestyle. I really do adore both. ♥

Em, this is so much darn fun! Look what a cool block you made. Wow!!! Never would I have thought to be so creative like THAT. You've gone and amazed me again.

They look so pretty! I haven't tried flying geese yet, but when I dig into Gwen Marston's liberated book I'll give it a try - figure I might as well go intentionally wonky, as that's what I invariably end up with. Yours are just perfect!

I love the block with the different sized geese. Do you have directions for it? Thanks!
