How Could I Resist ~ Giveaway

You know I couldn't resist a scrap sew along. My love of scraps would never allow it. So when I heard about Jodi's I hopped right on over and joined the fun.

And I'm so glad I did. Because prior to joining my scraps looked like this.
This bin sat under my cutting table and whenever I had scraps I just dumped them in. It was a bit unruly when I needed to find scraps though. But when I read about how Jodi stores her scraps I headed to Target to get me some containers so I could copy the pros. My containers are not as big as Jodi's but alas I didn't have as much room to store my containers. Still this is a great improvement over the one size fits all bin.
To celebrate Jodi's Sew Scrap Along and the fact that my scraps are now organized I'm having a giveaway. This scrappy dilly bag (being Em's Scrapbag it seemed only fitting) filled with scraps will go to one lucky person. I took a hand full from each of my newly organized scraps, so every color of the rainbow is in there.

Here it is all closed up ready to be boxed and shipped to that one lucky person.

Just leave a comment. Make sure you leave me a way to get in touch with you should you be that certain lucky person. Thanks for playing along. I'll pick the winner Monday.

Found your blog via Jodi's place. So glad I stopped by. How do you make your crumb blocks? Anyway, we could use some scraps in our house. Thank you for sharing.

Srcaps would be cool because I love scraps....
But your bag would be cooler!!
I actually don't really need more scraps or another bag... but what girl could resist another bag.
I just enjoyed looking at it and your scraps. Way to get organized! I do mine in strip and square size and then to small of strip but still might come in hand if I ever need it.
I over heard my son telling a friend that it was her first visit to our house and he said "Yeah my mom has this wall o'fabric..." I couldn't see but I think there was some eye rolling going on - on his part. Turns out she sews, knits and crochets! He won't get no support in bashing my habit here!!lol
Thanks for the great blog.
