More From My Talented Friends

I had my first guild meeting with me as president. And thanks to my wonderful board things went smoothly. They do their part and more and it makes my job so easy. Thank you ladies! Now a little show and tell. These frosty fellows stole my heart the moment I saw them. LaRae did a beautiful job. Sue's bag is fabulous. You can fit anything in it and I love her handle. Lots of fun beads going on there.
Her snowman quilt is adorable. She pieced all those little squares together. Isn't she amazing!

Doesn't this happy quilt just make you smile. I apologize for not remembering who made it.

Vivian made this fun wintertime quilt. I love all the fun blocks.
Thanks to Denise, Karen went outside her comfort zone and took a class to make this beauty. Didn't she do a beautiful job.
Once again I need to apologize I don't remember the creator of these turtles but I just had to share it.
Denise got the ott light last month. Which means she ought to finish something. Look at all she accomplished. I love the whimsical flowers on this one.

Her witchy table runner is going to be perfect for Halloween.
And she is ready for Christmas next year with this cute wall hanging.

Looking forward to seeing what the ott light produces next month.

  7. ...and congrats on the first month of President. That's no small feat and nice to read your team is a good one and supportive. You're only as effective as they allow you to be. They put you in the position to succeed. I mean, I'm just sayin'...

  8. I enjoyed the photos of the different quilts shown by your guild members!

I was president of a quilt guild for two years. Also served as vice-president in another guild for a couple years. It is a lot of work but I found it rewarding.
