Fat Quarter Monday

I am so sorry. I don't know if it was not feeling well so I wasn't exercising like I normally do. Or the fact that we had Valentines and I ate too many treats. Either way I did not lose any fat quarters this last week. My apologies to those who cheered me on and now I have nothing to offer. So if you will forgive me and give me the push I need to go on. I promise to do better this week. I will make it to the gym at least three times and ride the bike the other days. I have gotten rid of all Valentiney treats so they will not be a threat. I will do my best to make sure there are fat quarters to give away next Monday. I will do better!

  1. Don't chastise yourself or try to find reasons...just follow your plan and continue on. It may not have anything to do with what you did or did not do. The body is a marvelous thing and sometimes has it's own agenda. Monthly hormonal changes can make a difference too!

  2. I didn't have a great week either...but, got right back on track today! You can DO it...just know that an occasionaly slip is okay. I think mine was a combination of hormones and treats.

  5. Sometimes not losing just happens but at least you didn't gain anything. Just stick to your plan and it will all come together!

  6. I agree with these lovely ladies. As long as you didn't gain any back you are still working toward your goal. Your new eating and exercising routines are going to be a part of your life long-term now, and you will have these little up and down times. So keep your spirit and your motivation going. We are all cheering for you!

  8. Hang in there - it's entirely normal to have little plateaus. Just stay with it and keep trying to be as healthy as you can be and the weight will come off. :)

  10. (((Em))) don't get discouraged, get determined!! You are doing great and as long as you press on, the weight will come off in its own good time. You know, sometimes when you are sick you retain fluids as well.

  11. These things happen. Just remember this is a journey and sometimes you take a side trip. You are back on track and have your goal in sight. Keep up the good work.

  12. I thought of you last night. I was admiring you for doing this and I think, in my own way, it was sending a prayer out to you my friend. An admiration prayer. Do we have those? I think so. If not, now we do!

  14. I agree with everyone else - just stick to your plan. Better to not loose than to gain back, right?

  17. It is hard to go through a holiday and not indulge a little. I think the best thing is to get right back to your plan, and that is just what you are doing. Good job!
