Fat Quarters

I have heard it said fat quarters are what you get from sitting and sewing to long. Now whether this is true or not, I have some unwanted fat quarters on my person. In an attempt to get some help and to celebrate when I accomplish this I have here 15 fat quarters. Each one representing a pound I would like to lose. They are bright happy colors for it will be joyous when I meet this goal. Each Monday for the next three month (I am hoping that I can accomplish this by then) I will let you know how many fat quarters I have lost. Anyone who leaves a word of encouragement here is entitled to a chance at these lost fat quarters. If I lose more than one fat quarter during the week I will have more than one winner. So there will be fifteen chances to win. Thanks for your help may we all be successful in our fat quarter quest.
Em

I certainly have some fat quarters of my own. Good luck in achieving your goal of losing both kinds of fat quarters. You can do it. And if you pick me, I'd love to have the purple word fabric for my projects.

You can add me to your cheer squad.

You've also given me an idea of the opposite kind ... perhaps I could purchase a fat quarter or something, for each kilo I loose.

Good Luck!

Cute idea! I started December 26 trying to get healthier and as of this morning have lost 9 pounds. Of course, I might gain 2 or 3 back by tomorrow because it's two steps forward/one step back progress but at least it's progress. I found a great DVD at Sam's (I think WalMart has it)called Leslie Sansone "Walk At Home." I put it in my computer and I walk in my bedroom. So far I'm just doing one mile but soon I will add a second mile. And it's helping my stamina! blessings, marlene

Hey Em!
Great idea for trimming the fat quarters! I could use more FQs in my stash, but not on my body. Trying to loose a fair amount myself!
I wish you much success with your little journey of trimming...
In the mean time Happy Quilting!
OH! And I love what you are doing on your design wall right now! Love the hearts! 8-)
