Change

Today I lose my quiet mornings for a while. School starts and for the next nine months my mornings will go by in busy shifts. At 6:20 a.m. my two oldest arise. I get them fed and out the door in time for my hubby and youngest son to get up at 7:00. I get them fed and out the door and it is time for my DD to get up and get going. I'll walk her to school. Then off to the gym so I don't get fat quarters where I don't want them. After that I will clean up the house. And amazingly it will stay clean. Well until 2:30 when they start coming home.

  2. Ah, but you trade quiet mornings for a quiet mid moring and lunch...sounds good to me!

  3. You know Em, I so envy you still having kids to get off to school. Having raised 5 myself, I know how big the headaches can get, but I cherish those years of the school belling for the first day. I love the big yellow buses, the sharpening of new pencils, and the excited chatter as the kids find their old friends again. *VBS*
You days will fill up quickly I'm sure. I've got you down for 6 quilts or projects, any kind of UFO is fine with me. I'll be putting our names and numbers on my sidebar and linking it back to you. If that's not ok, let me know. Big hugs for happy school days again, Finn

  5. Thanks for visiting me...I had a little chuckle with..... your house will stay clean until they return.....I wouldn't mind cleaning if it lasted for more than 1 day ...however.
